Play all four daily puzzles at once

The home page now features a daily grid showing all four difficulty levels at once, making it easier to see your progress and jump straight into any board.

  • Daily Grid: The home page now displays Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme daily puzzles simultaneously.
  • Smart Action Labels: Direct "Play", "Continue", or "Replay" buttons based on your actual progress for each daily tier.
  • Smoother Archive Transitions: Added skeleton loaders to the More Puzzles page for a better visual experience during data loads.

  • UI Polish & Consistency: Removed over 4,000 lines of legacy CSS, ensuring a cleaner and more consistent look across the entire app.

Sharing wins is now much easier

It is now faster and cleaner to share your finished runs with friends, whether you want to copy the result or post it straight to social media.

  • Better finish-screen sharing: the Share button now keeps the familiar copied result format while giving you a cleaner, more polished sharing flow.
  • Faster social posting: after sharing, you now get quick actions for X, Reddit, and LinkedIn so you can challenge friends in just a tap or two.
  • Friendlier result copy: shared text stays simple, readable, and challenge-ready, making it easier for friends to jump in and try to beat your run.

Extreme clarity for mobile play

We redesigned how clues appear on mobile to ensure perfect readability even on the most complex 9x9 "Extreme" boards.

  • Mobile Icon Clarity: Simplified the "any shape" clue icon to a clear three-dot pattern for instant recognition on small screens.
  • Smart Layout Shift: High-density 9x9 grids now automatically switch to a vertical stack layout on mobile to eliminate clue overlap.
  • Responsive Scaling: Clue badges now scale dynamically based on your screen width, ensuring they remain clear without crowding the grid.
  • Reduced Insets: Minimized badge margins on mobile to give every icon and number the maximum possible space.

Faster archive, fewer waits

The More Puzzles page now loads the daily archive and today's boards in a fraction of the time, with fewer network trips and no sequential fetching.

  • Archive loads significantly faster: all four daily difficulties now arrive in a single request instead of four separate ones.
  • The archive browser no longer fires dozens of sequential requests to populate the month view — one request now covers enough history to show two months at once.
  • Resuming in-progress boards no longer blocks or re-triggers the full archive load when your saved puzzle list changes.

Share your victories with style

Game sharing is now better than ever with dynamic social previews, rich challenge metadata, and polished share text.

  • Dynamic Social Previews: Links shared on Twitter (X) and other platforms now show rich previews with specific puzzle titles and challenge goals.
  • Rich Challenge Metadata: Challenge links now dynamically display the target time and hint limit in their social cards.

Improved

  • Polished Share Text: Results copied to the clipboard now feature a cleaner layout with emojis for a more engaging look.
  • Better Link Compatibility: Switched to PNG assets for social previews to ensure they work perfectly across all social media platforms.

Allow users to resume their boards

You can now leave a board and come back to it later! Your progress will be saved, so you can pick up right where you left off.

  • Resume Board Feature: If you leave a board before completing it, your progress will be saved. You can return to the same board later and continue solving from where you left off.

Small fixes, smoother experience

A handful of polish fixes to improve sign-in and streak messaging.

Fixed

  • Google Sign-In button now correctly displays with rounded (pill) corners across all pages.
  • Streak reminder no longer shows a nonsensical "0-day run" message for new users — it now invites them to start their first streak instead.
